I used to think I wanted to change the world, but I’ve changed my mind. I’d much rather just change one heart. So, to you, sweet soul, this space is for you. No matter who you are, no matter where you’ve been, this space is for you. You matter here.
Hello, lovely.
I’m a writer, in case you haven’t guessed, and a lady with a severe hot tea addiction.
In August of 2019, I married my favorite human, in front of all the very best people, and since then, Andrew and I have been figuring out this whole marriage thing.
I’m a follower of Jesus, lover of His people, and I have removable ears. Okay, to clarify, I’m Deaf and have ‘ears’ that help me hear; in addition to using my voice, I also speak with my hands using American Sign Language.
My stud of a husband and I make our home in Middle Tennessee, but I’ve also lived in three other states growing up. I graduated from Gallaudet University with a Bachelor’s in English and a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies, and am currently enrolled in seminary for my Master’s.
I geek out over theology, our pups Poppy and Pepper, and occasionally shoes. Books, baking, thrifting, and being surrounded by my tribe are all things that make my cheeks squish in a grin.
I can almost always be found with a cup of hot tea in my hand and a book nearby. But enough about me. Let’s be friends!
